The sides of the boat are made of marine ply. Three sheets of 4×8 joined together (4 inch scarfs). Glued and glassed, then glued onto the frames.

it was my Christmas present – big visible progress!
Then Frank set up a jig to cut the scarf joints to join the ply together. I was stunned that he could get such clean cuts, totally smooth and 4 inches wide.
here’s the starboard side panel all glued up and glassed. It became the template for the port panel.
